02 About the project
Green Haven PSA is implementing the project with support from the European Union. We are developing a crop risk assessment service that combines satellite, weather and soil data with historical claims data. The solution will be available to businesses as a web application and API on a subscription basis.
03 Project objective
The project aims to develop and bring to market an innovative scoring service for agricultural insurance. AgroRisk is intended to help insurers assess risk before issuing a policy and manage their agricultural insurance portfolios.
04 Project activities
- Scoring module development — data integration, development of risk assessment and anomaly detection algorithms, an API and a dashboard with risk maps and reports, testing on historical data, and technical documentation.
- Marketing and pilot implementation — preparation of promotional materials, industry outreach, and a pilot with at least one insurance partner, including data integration, user training and feedback collection.
- Production release preparation — refinement of the application, preparation of the commercial offering and sales documentation, launch of payments and technical support, and the start of service sales.
05 Target groups
The project is aimed at insurers offering agricultural insurance. The solution will primarily be used by:
- insurance underwriters,
- analysts,
- insurance portfolio management teams.
06 Planned outcomes and results
The planned result is the introduction of one product innovation: GREEN HAVEN AgroRisk, available as a web application and API under a B2B subscription model, together with the first commercial sale.
The solution is intended to automate risk assessment, reduce field inspection costs and improve the accuracy of insurance decisions.
